Landmark Irrigation began doing business under the name Sutter Electric Inc. in 1981.  The owner, Steve Sutter,  has been a Valley dealer for 17 years, and has sold more than 200 Valley center pivots.  The name was changed to Landmark Irrigation Inc. in 1999 to better identify our main focus.  Through the years we have changed and adapted with the times to better serve the farming community.  We continue to provide Valley certified service on any and all irrigation systems throughout the tri-state area.  

In 1991, the installation of systematic drainage tile became a very large part of our operations.  We purchased a Wolfe drainage plow in 1998 and it allowed us to efficiently install each system quickly and accurately.  A Hydramaxx wheel trencher was added to the equipment line in 2000.  This machine can  install  mains as large as 12".  It also digs a 7 foot deep trench, allowing us to install the mains deeper when needed.  We use a GPS data collector system in the field to create an accurate surface topography for each field.  The topography is instrumental in the design of the drainage system.  It allows us to design the most efficient drainage system for each particular field.   Landmark Irrigation is here to help with any sort of irrigation or drainage issues that you may have.  We take the guessing out of drainage tile installation.  We know that our design will work, and we stand firmly behind every job that we install.
